2020 - A REWIND

We all started this year with a lot of expectations. But no one expected that this year would've turned around like now. People losing their beloved ones & their jobs in a blink of an eye were horrifying moments for us. We know many ppl turned depressed and ended their lives as they were not able to see a hope of light in their darkness. But for many ppl, this was a moment to turn towards God because they realised that with their strength or excellence it was impossible to overcome this situation. So I'm just taking a moment to remind all my friends that without God's Grace we won't make it to anywhere. We could reach the halfway by our strength but we won't reach the destination. Because life is like a relay race. There will be a moment which we have to hand over the baton to another person, for us that is to God. People won't understand that pain you're going through. But there is a God who knows us more than anyone else.

So let's handover all our troubles, depression, worries and all to Him. Coz He is faithful to help us to overcome it all. So I would like to take this moment to encourage you all to bury your past mistake, worries and failures and start the new year with God. Remember, When the mirror of life gets dirty with the fog of reality, just try to wipe it with your faith in God.

God Bless You❤️

The Beauty In The Brokenness

Have you ever felt hopeless in your life?
A situation where you have no hopes for tomorrow.

Have you felt like no one cares anymore about you?

Are you putting on a fake smile in order to hide your pain from others or trying to convince others that you are alright?

I believe that some of you are going through such situations or have already experienced them. But will you believe if I say that there is a blessing for being broken?
Through this post, I would like to remind you of how you are blessed even if you are broken. And before that I would like you to read the following story:

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go look at a pear tree that was at a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no – it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed, he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfilment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right because they had each seen but one season in the tree’s life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are – and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life – can only be measured at the end when all the seasons are up. If you give up when it’s winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer and fulfilment of your fall. Don’t judge a life by one difficult season. Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.

If you study the life of each person in the Bible God has called out, you will find that each of them went through a time of brokenness or a time of struggle before God has blessed them. So whatever God has blessed always went through a brokenness before it turns out to be a blessing. So be patient and never give up.

And please remember this, Sometimes God will
let us go through hard times not because He is not capable of keeping us away from it but because we should be a help and guide to those who go through similar situations. One of the biggest examples for this can be seen in the Book of John, Chapter 6(Verse 1-10) in the Bible. By reading these verse 1-10, we can find that Jesus feeds five thousand people with five loaves and 2 fish. In Luke 9:16(Contemporary English Version) it’s been written like this, “Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish. He looked up toward heaven and blessed the food. Then he broke the bread and fish and handed them to his disciples to give to the people.”

So that is why I have said that there is a beauty in the brokenness. But know that, before we turn out to be a blessing we should always trust God, submit ourselves to Him and then without grumbling, wait for God’s time to see His mighty deliverance. And one of the specialities of God is that He can do wonders remarkably even if we think the situation has its limitations. So no matter what we are going through, our God can make everything work together for our good.

Remember- Both blessing and trouble come in your life only if God permits.
Yes, we are safe in His hands.

Thank You so much for spending your valuable time in reading this post & kindly share it if you find it uplifting for your soul.

BEING THANKFUL

BEING THANKFUL

We have all heard about Leonardo da Vinci and his works of art. All of his art pieces have been mesmerising art lovers all over the world for decades. However, there has been one standout work of art of Da Vinci that has been admired and discussed the world over, The Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is a Da Vinci painting that has not been properly valued yet. This painting is kept in the Louvre museum in Paris. The Mona Lisa is protected way more than even the president of the United States is protected and it is guarded with state of the art technology due to its priceless characteristic. Regardless of all the high security, this splendid art piece was stolen in the year 1911 and was recovered and restored only two years later.
In the two years that the painting was lost, tourists around the world still visited this museum by paying tickets even with the knowledge that the mona Lisa was stolen. Some even visited the museum just to make sure that that portrait was not there. They came and said to each other,
“Wow, it is not here!!!”.
The sad part was, these people did not think about the portrait when it was hanging there.

Now, you might have thought in your mind how crazy and foolish these people were, just travelling all the way and paying for the ticket to see an EMPTY WALL??
And right now you are thinking that, if it was you, you would not have done that. But the truth is, we are not much different from those tourists who had visited that empty wall. In our daily life in most instances, we wear the same shoe those tourists wore.
God has blessed us all with blessings that most people cannot even imagine having, but we forget to thank Him for that. Rather than what we have, we always like to look towards the empty wall of our lives, like those tourists.

Be content with what you have.

I know it is hard to practise it in our life, but it is not impossible to apply in life.

Now, take a moment and ask yourself, when was the last time you thanked God with all your heart for everything that you have now.
Just remember that you will not be fully happy in your life till you learn to be content or satisfied with the things you have. So learn to appreciate the things that you have now in your life because you do not know what tomorrow holds.

Stop chasing after the world too much. You might think that you will be happy when you get certain things in your life. But unless you are satisfied with what you have, you will end up chasing the wind.

Before I conclude I would like my readers to read the following story –

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.

Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.

Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only
need a very small area to bury me."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard every day to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health and fail to spend time with our family or appreciate the surrounding beauty or follow our passions sincerely.

So one day when we look back, we will realise that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

So take a moment and thank God for everything you have.

Thanks for spending your valuable time on reading this humble post

God Bless You :)

The Theory of Living

The Theory of Living

Rather than “Living” one's life, many are nowadays trying to “Survive”, it. In other words, people nowadays are striving - to achieve their dreams, to make others happy and to not disappoint those who are counting on them. Give me a hallelujah if this sounds just about right.

I believe this world really has become far more complex now than it ever was before. Most people have learned to define their lives in the 140 characters of a tweet or a 6-second status on snapchat. Human emotions are now replaced by words like LOL, ROFL, AWW and so on. We have begun to forget how it is to “Live” like a real human. Looking around, we see young people sacrificing their youth in pursuit of material happiness, in a race to build their own kingdom, forgetting to “live” each moment of their life as it passes by. Ages later we see them living the life they had dreamed in their youth but now with one foot in the coffin.

Before proceeding kindly read the following story…

A Group of friends, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. The conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said:
If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of problems and stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases, it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then began envying each other’s cups. Then the professor said,
“Now consider this: Life is the COFFEE; the jobs, money and position in the society are the CUPS. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us”.

God brews the coffee, not the cups.

Note that, The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Indeed we have to be a survivor when struggles try to knock us down, but it does not mean to forget to “live” the life that meant to be lived. Be grateful for the things that we have now. Remember that we live only once, so make sure that you will not regret it at the end. Stop trying to get approval from the people around you. Even if you do things well, there will be a group of people out there who still find faults in it. So don’t try to be someone else.

Be who you are.

Be grateful and live every moment.

Thank you for spending your valuable time in reading this article.

God Bless You

The Best Is Yet To Come

Yet again we have come to the end of a year. To me this year was a year of surprises. This was a year where we witnessed a lot of incidents that surprised us, like the election result for the race of American President, the step taken by the Indian Government to go cashless and propagate digital economy by announcing demonetization, and a slew of other incidents to name a few.

But this not what I want to share with my readers. I would like to bring your attention another issue. We all know that every businesses or company albeit big or small do a year ending auditing or at the end of their financial year assess their balance sheets to know if the firm was running in profit or loss. Likewise, I'd like to pose a question to all my beloved readers.

How was the past year for you? Was it a year of loss or one of profit?

One thing I'm sure about is that regardless of us recalling our profits or not we will definitely recall our losses. The things that we hoped for, prayed for but did not happen as we expected. But remember you cannot define them as your loss. You are really blessed beyond your imaginations. Never forget to thank God and love Him more when-when He does miracles in our life. Nowadays many of us lose a thankful heart and forget to be grateful for what we have because remember that the people we might think are the luckiest might be really struggling with something we might not know of. Trust me, everything that happens in our life is for a reason. We may not understand it now, but we will surely understand them on one day.

The Bible says, “Everything works together for good for those who love God”.

As humans, we might have a lot of questions when we go through struggles in our life. But the truth is we only see our present situations - our present struggles, our present frustrations and our present failures. We don’t know what tomorrow holds. We stay awake at nights by thinking how we will overcome this situation which makes us hopeless and scared to face our tomorrows. But this is where the Bible gives you hope.

In the book of Jeremiah 29:11(NIV) the Bible says,

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

“When fear knocks, let our faith answer.”

God gives us tests in our life not to destroy us but to promote us. One of the funny facts is that many people have some knowledge about God but don’t have enough faith in Him. Remember if everything that human-made in this world has an expiry date then surely God has also set an expiry date for what you’re going through right now. For now, we may be a question to many people but believe and have faith in God, He will surely turn us into an answer to many.

Our loving God won’t let us down.

So rather than complaining about what we don’t have let us thank God for the things that we have. Remember many people who entered this year has not made it to the end of this year. God has kept us all safe for the past one year because He is faithful, even when we failed Him. So take a moment to thank God.

When trouble comes knocking down your door do not run from God, but run to Him. Surely He will deliver you from all your present troubles.

Thank You for spending your valuable time in reading my humble post.
I'm also taking this opportunity to thank all my readers for your endless love and support for the past few years.

Also wishing all my readers a very happy and prosperous new year in advance. :)

May God Keep You All Safe.

Stay Blessed.

One Solitary Life

Dr James Allan Francis wrote One Solitary Life during the early 1900s. This description of the life and impact of Jesus Christ has become one of the most quoted and beloved pieces of Christian literature since that time. So I would like to share here for my readers too.,

"*He was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman.

*Until He was thirty, He worked in a carpenter shop and then for three years He was an itinerant preacher.

*He wrote no books.

*He held no office.

*He never owned a home.

*He was never in a big city.

*He never travelled two hundred miles from the place He was born.

*He never did any of the things that usually accompany greatness.

*The authorities condemned His teachings.

*His friends deserted Him.

*One betrayed Him to His enemies for a paltry sum.

*One denied Him.

*He went through the mockery of a trial.

*He was nailed on a cross between two thieves.

*While He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He owned on earth: His coat.

*When He was dead He was taken down and placed in a borrowed grave.

*Nineteen centuries have come and gone, yet today He is the crowning glory of the human race, the adored leader of hundreds of millions of the earth’s inhabitants.

*All the armies that ever marched and all the navies that were ever assembled and all the parliaments that ever sat and all the rulers that ever reigned—combined—have not affected the life of man upon this earth so profoundly as that One Solitary Life."

PEACE

PEACE

As we are nearing to the end of an another year I think it's time to reflect on its happenings. This year bore witness to one of the most tragic terrorist attacks that we have ever witnessed in Europe.  The ISIS attack in Paris was a shocker for people around the world. People are valuing animal life more than that of humans and the brutality is for all to see. Anyway may God change their evil hearts & evil desires. It’s blunt a truth that terrorist attacks becomes a common news in everyday media. Every one around the world lives in a fear of what might happen next. No one can guarantee a safety in this world now.

As someone said, “We know the value of a thing only when we have  lost it”. I think “PEACE” is something like that now. It has  become a dream or something increasingly impossible to achieve.

It is easy to quarrel and turn against each other, but it is not that easy to maintain “PEACE” and  LOVE with everyone. For maintaining “PEACE” we must need ‘PATIENCE’.

Before I talk about the topic I would like you to read the following story…

-

-

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.

One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.

But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest – in perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize?

The king chose the second picture.

Do you know why?

“Because,” explained the king, “peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. PEACE means ,one can be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in one's heart. That is the real meaning of PEACE.”

-

-

“PEACE” always begins with God.

It is not something that we can create ourselves.  If you can sleep at night peacefully, you are far more blessed than you think. Many  believe that PEACE can be bought if they gain a huge amount of money. But truth is, the only thing world cannot buy with the power of money is PEACE. So that is why I clearly mentioned above that PEACE begins with God.

Remaining in PEACE doesn’t mean that you are problem free. It means that when things around you doesn’t make sense,  you believe the best is yet to come & everything will work for your good.

According to the Bible, Jesus clearly said about “PEACE” in John 16:33..

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

This is one of the greatest assurances  Christians have  got. This is what makes Christians stronger to face their challenge ahead, no matter what it will be.

So may God help you to find "PEACE" in Him.

REMEMBER THAT :-

“True peace is not the absence of war or trouble; it is the presence of God.”
