Steps to become a successful person in life
Jesus promised, "Put God first and do what he wants. Then everything else will be yours"
God is all for success once you give him the chance to help you succeed.
Too often the standards for success are measured by the level of education we have attained, the amount of money we have in the bank, the size of our house, or by the material possessions we possess. And in order to be successful, some are willing to do whatever it takes, even if it means bending the rules.
Education is important & a must have; there's nothing wrong with a good job and wealth if they are used well. But how we treat others and what we do with our education and money is what people will remember about us long after we are gone.
True success can only be measured at the end of our lives by how we used what we had to serve our society & honour God. This is the only kind of success that can never be taken away from you.
Following are the simple steps to become a successful person in the life -
1. Discovering God's purpose for your life. (He has the best plan.)
2. Talking to God in prayer. (Get real with him. He knows what's in your heart anyways.)
3. Believing that God loves you unconditionally.
4. Living peacefully with others. (Conflicts rob you of energy and motivation.)
5. Loving others in spite of their faults. (Maybe they will overlook yours.)
6. Choosing Good Friends (A mark of true success.)
7. Starting over after making mistakes. (We must make each day as new and fresh experience.)
8. Working hard at something you like or something that is required of you. (You'll feel good about your accomplishment.)
9. Being generous! (Give the gift of time and your abilities to others.)
10. Being honest no matter how difficult. (It builds self-respect and wins the trust and respect of others.)
